Re-Unita Final Conference
Re-Unita
is a research project by six universities of the UNITA Alliance. Re-Unita started in
2021, and in July 2024, we celebrated the final conference of the project,
hosted by Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (Pau, France). I was invited to
the round table ‘Promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in research’ to share my experience as
the winner
of the Unita Innovation Prize.
Besides meetings, our hosts
organized a visit to a local french winery (yes, it was as good as it sounds). In
the pic, I’m
with
the UNITA team from University of Zaragoza (Unizar), from left to right: Inés Escudero, Eva Cerezo, Rosa
Bolea (Vice-Rector of Scientific Policy), José María Fraile, Ignacio Garcés (Unita
PI at Unizar), me, José María Casas and Inés Dominguez.
Pau is nestled close to the Pyrenees. It's
a charming, green small town with mountain views and excellent pastries.
Definitely worth a visit.
