First time at ESCRS
The ESCRS (European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons)
Annual Congress reunites thousands of people every year to discuss the anterior
eye. This was not only my first on-site congress post-COVID-19 (yay! I did miss
conference badge wearing) but also my first time at ESCRS. It’s massive and a
great opportunity to catch up with old colleagues and make some new
connections.
I was invited to participate in the workshop on visual optics –
imaging the human eye, to speak about the fundamentals of Corneal Biomechanics.
I’m thankful to all the attendees and the colleagues I shared the panel with Dr
Sorcha NĂ Dhubhghaill, Dr Aristofanis Pallikaris, and Dr Luc Van Os (in the pic
with me).
